The Mulilo De Aar Solar Trust was established with the purpose of ensuring that the local communities within a 50km radius of the project site participate in the economic benefits of the Mulilo De Aar Solar Park.

In addition, the Trust is set up to realise broad-based socio-economic development and empowerment of the beneficiary communities.
